Kate's World {Portrait Session}
Every once in a while, we come across a client who is so genuinely fun to work with, the shoot takes on a life of its own, and we lose track of time. Ekaterina, or Kate, as she is known to friends, had the kind of personality that put us at ease as soon as we said "Hello". What's more, she brought along her adorable four-legged children, who were quite eager to join the adventure.
The National Cathedral in D.C. provided the prefect backdrop for our shoot: imposing yet serene. Kids in tow, we roamed the grounds, stopping to take pictures every now and then. Kate was such a sweet, funny, smart young woman, and we had so much to talk about, that time flew by in the blink of an eye.
The hour-long portrait session turned into an entire evening to remember, and we stopped only when it began to get too dark and too cold to keep going. We had a feeling we would have too many beautiful pictures to count, and we were right. We had such a hard time picking out our favorites, as did Kate- always a good sign! This portrait session will always have a special place in our hearts, and we hope to be able to work with Kate again, very soon!
{The End}
